QuoteReplyTopic: Shampoo without BAD Ingredients?!?!?!? Posted: January 12 2000 at 5:16am
Hi there everyone! I recently went and looked at all of my shampoos that I have at home and ALL of my salon expensive shampoos have the ingredients that are "harmful"...what am I to do? Is there an easily obtainable brand out there that I can buy that will cleanse my hair without harm? I have fine and fragile hair and if someone could point me in the right direction for a gentle daily shampoo and conditioner I would be VERY VERY appreciative! Thanks in advance for all fo the good advice I'm sure will follow!CG

You can find these at health food stores. Very good products, not tested on animals, natural ingredients, terrific smell. Definitely a must have for your hair.Related Link:SLS vs. SLES

Hi, CG!As you know, I am a fan of Aubrey Organics. All products are certified organic. You can find the products at most health food stores, including Whole Foods/Fresh Fields, and retailers/mail-order companies like the Vitamin Shoppe. Vitamin Shoppe sells them at great discounts.I would also recommend the tea tree oil line included within Dessert Essence as a daily shampoo/conditioner. No SLS. Unlike Aubrey's shampoos which are all castile-based, this shampoo uses babassu oil as the sudsing agent. You should know, however, that the product does contain Cocamide DEA ( a no-no in Aubrey's book:), along with methylparabin (also a no-no:)).In the whole issue of "bad ingredients", I think you just have to decide how much, if any, you want your hair subjected to.Bye for now,Jade21Hi there everyone!
