Hey-I'm new here,so I dunno if this "?" has been posted before,it probably has. Anyway, does anyone know of any products I can try or techniques I could use to help straighten my naturally curly brown hair? I blow-dry it after I wash it,but as soon as I walk outta my room or out of the house,I'll have waves...please someone help me out! Thanks
Hi there! I've been fighting with the same kind of hair for a long time. You can try Paul Mitchell's "THE HEAT". It works pretty good. Put it on your damp hair and blow dry straight. Other than that, I don't know of anything else to do unless you want to chemically straighten it, but I don't recommend that. Sara :)

Hey Tai! Why spend your life fighting your hair when you're free today to just let it be and go with it. I felt the same as you before. I've got naturally real curly hair which I use to want to tame and so I'd use this and that. Then I took to keeping it closely cropped. A couple years ago a then girlfriend urged me to just let my hair express itself and to enjoy its expression. Since then I've let it develop and grown it out pretty full and down to my neck, just above shoulders into a dense mass of ringlets and corkscrew curls. I'm loving the way my hair looks now, full and tightly coiled but still loose enough not to dreadlock. Like yours, my hair color is primarily medium brown with some auburn and blonde hi-lights I've added for interest. And I seem to get nothing but compliments on my hair, compared to when I was fighting, rather than nuturing my curls.I 've always had a chocolate colored walrus style moustache. But lately I've stopped shaving altogether and am letting my beard develop. It's doing well, coming in a beatiful shade of chestnut, with great speed and super coverage. Right now its a couple inches long, very full and bushy. Just like when I grew my curls out, people who are now first seeing me again are really liking the addition of the facial ahir with the curls. A lot of them are saying I am looking like a Greek GOD.I can't express how positive I feel about myself and the image I now convey and that is the result of repecting and expressing my curls rather than fighting them.> Hey-I'm new here,so I dunno if this "?" has> been posted before,it probably has. I really like the look you're describing and would like to style my own hair that way once I grow it out a bit more. But my hair is more wavy than it is curly like yours. Somebody suggested that I could acheive corkscrew like curls with a spiral Perm. Anyone familar with the technique? Please describe the process to me. How long should my hair be to do this?____________________________________________________________> Hey Tai!
