Hi, I was wandering if someone could give me the name or names of a good shampoo and conditioner for my hair It needs strength, shine and its very oily and flat, but hers the hard part I was wanting something I could buy at maybe wal-mart. I hope I'm not asking for somthing impossible but I just can't afford salon prices.

I was very surprised when I tried VO5's Mango shampoo and conditioner. The conditioner, which is 99 cents for a huge bottle at Wal-Mart, makes my heair extremely soft. The shampoo and conditioner is it a light beige bottle and the scent is Mango passionfruit or something.*Allyson*

Pantene is good, but does seem to build up on my hair after awhile unless I use a clarifying shampoo. Have you ever tried Joico products? I've only found them in salons, but they aren't terribly expensive....the Kerapro shampoo is around $5.95/bottle but the conditioner is a little more. Tresseme is good too and you can find that anywhere. Good luck!

Whenever I use a cheap shampoo I resort to Flex...call me crazy but that balsam scent and the gentle shampoo and conditioner are winners with me. I always get the Frequent Use Triple Action kind with the teal cap. It's in my grocery store for about $2.97 a pop, or at K-Mart or Walmart sometimes for a buck and change. Not bad for the $$$Woo
