Believe it or not, the two Aveda shampoos are what I have! I'm glad to know at least I'm on the right track. Thanks so much for your response!

Aveda's shampure or the rosemary mint shampoo (if you like the coolness). The second one is good for oily hair and is gentle enough. You can try Joico's jojoba shampoo for maintaining the scalp.

Well, although quite short, my hair is in *perfect* health! It isn't oily, and it isn't dry, although if I had to absolutely choose a tendency, I suppose it would be oily. No perms, color, or heatstyling tools have ever been used on it. I pretty much wash it, condition it a couple of times a week, and let it air dry. My individual hairs are fine, but I have an abundance of them. Now, there are a zillion kinds of shampoo out there for all kinds of problems. My problem is, I don't have a problem! Therefore, what is a good basic shampoo that will simply clean my hair? I should also mention that I am growing it out, so I'd like something that won't harm my hair as well, so I want nothing harsh.Does anyone have any suggestions?
