Daughter wants new Hairstyle

Hi everyone,I hope someone here has some insight on this.....My daughter wants one of those new haircuts where the hair falls at the mid-face to chin then falls again, then goes to shoulders she wants 2-3 lengths....from all the pictures i showed her, what she wants is a "razor cut" she has pretty straight fine/thin hair....when i read about razor cuts, i read that this cut may not work well on her type of hair...Is this Correct?....My other question..."razor cuts" seem fairly new, should i ask around to see "how long" a stylist has been doing this cut?? any other advice is welcome..My daughter has beautiful hair and i don't want it messed up....Thanx Bunches,Carol
