No "face" though unless you count> the digusted look!!!> DebHey folks, Silver here...I HATE the orange in my hair, and yes, I do check the orange ALL the time...I do make the face as well...and just so you all know...my Man was looking over my shoulder...and he posted the "curious face" post...good one!! But he is soooo right, I always make a face... and my complaints about the orange: ENDLESS ;0If anyone knows any way to get rid of the orange...I thought I had it down...but I do have well water...I got my hair highlighted in Sept, again to be done next week, he only puts semi permanent in, Due to the unwanted brass that permanent seems to leave. So I'm going on Tues, I want ash blonde, by -passing that horrible yellow/orange stage...he says it will take a couple of go's...any input would be helpful...I use Infinity chamomile and Natures gate conditioner...my fav's...and of course sheer blond mousse to cut the brass...I stopped using the shampoo...alittle harsh at times...but I use it off and on...I hope this next trip to the hair salon will bring out more ash blonde...any ideas about the brass that I can mention to him would be of great help...BTW: You all are WONDERFIL!!! I love this site!!Thanks!!
I don't make an "O" face, but I know exactly what you mean about the guaging the orangeness thing. I do the EXACT same thing. Good Grief, now (thank god) I know I am not crazy.
How cool ... a fellow mirror facer! Thanks for your reply, Silver.I'm not the only insane one then.It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't so convinced that I had orange in my hair. I look at my hair in the mirror about four times every hour to see if I can guage the level of orangeness. I even go outside on our porch with a hand mirror to look at it in natural daylight. And of course, every time I pull that same "O" face!Oh by the way, wish me luck - I start a new job today. I just hope they have plenty of mirrors in my new office!!;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)You know who.

Hi All,I've just realized that whenever I look in the mirror to check out my hair - which I do incredibly frequently - I make a special face.I don't know why I do it, I just pull the same face every time. I guess it's a bit like baring your teeth just before you brush them.Anyway, my special mirror face is I make my mouth into a firm "O", which tightens the skin on my face.I just can't seem to pass by a mirror without making this face and looking at and playing with my hair.Is this normal ? My boyfriend laughs at me every time I do it.Anyone else do anything similar ?I just want to make sure I'm not nuts !!ThanksCurious
