please help!!

I have short hair, currently chin level. I am getting my hair cut next week and I really need advice on a style. My hair is very thin and fine. I'm very self concious. But i was wondering what the best thing is to do. If i let it get longer it looks thinner, but if i go too short I think it would look thin too. I'm very anxious for a fun, new, kind of crazy hair style. I also dye it a somewhat natural red -it always gives me a little more volume.is it bad to dye your hair if it's so thin?and do you suggest any products? i currently use nioxin.I think i want to go shorter but I need help desperatlythank you!**********forever blue

Hi Stella,I had read somewhere that it is fine to color your hair if you have thin/fine hair. The hair coloring will give you hair some body. Regarding a hair style, my suggestion is that you should either keep your hair the length it is and have the stylist add some layers to it for body and fullness or if you want to cut it you could go for the "Jamie Lee Curtis" look of having it cut really short and close to your head. I would bring some hair magazines to the salon with you and show pictures you like to your stylist and ask her/him if that particular style would work with your hair type.> I have short hair, currently chin level.
