About a year and half ago I got a very, very bad haircut. It was really uneven and big chuncks cut out, just awful. My problem is I have been going to a man stylist who I like very much. He seems like he knows what he is doing. (He must be good, it takes 3 weeks to get an appointment) Anyway, about a year ago I went to him to even out the mess and got my hair cut short, but it was still uneven because of how bad it was. My problem is, no matter how many times I get my hair cut it never seems to be the same on both sides. Right now my right side has many more layers, and is much thinner (Because of the layers). My questions is how can I bring this pattern to his attention without insulting him? I really do like him and other then the hair coming out uneven, he does a good job.

Hi Rachel,First of all, if your stylist has been giving you uneven haircuts, what else about him is good?As a stylist myself, Iappriciate your lolalty, but something has to change! The only reason I come up with for one side longer is are your legs crossed at the time of the cut? That will throw everything off.Next,is your hair parted on the side? The side opposite the part should have more layers. If you like this guy so much, being honest is best. Dont mention previous cuts, just the last one. If it were me I'd rather you voice your concerns, than lose you as a client. Good luck!
