SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!! I have a lot of dark hair on my arms. I tried waxing and sugaring, but some of the hair kept breaking off instead of being removed from the root, so there was always hair there, no matter how many times I used the stupid product!! This is really annoying; it always looked like I had stubble on my arms. Does anyone know how to get all the hair to go away?? (without Nair- it sucks)

I wish dark hair on my arms was the only problem I had. Listen to this and you will thank your lucky stars arm hair is all you have trouble with. Most women know that when they have a baby, melanin has a tendency to collect in a dark line in the center of your tummy making a darker line of hair. Well, I didn't know this when I was pregnant so I just decided to shave off this line from my belly button down. Now, two years later, I am ashamed at what my tummy looks like. It was hairy and totally digusting until I finally started plucking the little buggers. Can you imagine plucking your stomach hair? It is horrible. I feel rididulous when I do it. I just don't know what else to you. My body still looks nice after the baby and I want to put on a two piece and get some sun, but I look like Godzilla. The plucking of the hairs really irritates the area and now the hairs are starting to grow back underneath the skin where the tip of the hair does not poke out. (ingrown I guess) It's really gross. I am considering electrolosis, put I don't eant to ruin my skin or anything. So about your arm hair, I bet it's really not that bad. You are probably the only one who notices it. Just take a little advice from me and never shave your abdomen....or you will be very very sorry.Plucking in Phoenix, Mikayla

Hi,If the bothersome hair is only on your arms (and cash is not a problem) you could go to a professional, licensed provider of electrolosys (can't spell). This will remove the hair and it will not grow back. Check into this option fully, though, before you decided since it is painful and permanent. And, your other responder did bring up a good point - how much do you REALLY need it off? Sometimes it is more trouble than it is worth to try to change the body you were given, but only you can decide that.> SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!! I have a lot of dark> hair on my arms. I can vouch for electrolysis. Actually, I went to school for it and practiced for a few years. I myself, have gone through many years of hair removal. I am dark haired and most of my body hair is black. I have had it removed off my face and neck. Electrolysis is permanent. It does hurt a bit but not much. It goes accordingly to your level of pain tolerance. Right now I am having my hairline at the base of my neck removed since it grows down too far. Since I am graying and intend on wearing my hair up more.. I feel now is the time to clean up that area. Let me explain one thing..if you have never tweesed an area, electrolysis will work more quickly since you have not distorted the hair root with plucking. Plucking distorts the folicle and then when the technician inserts the needle..it has to straighten out the folicle before reaching the hair root. This will require more treatments. If you have never tweesed..the electrolysis treatments will show quicker results. I have never messed with the back of my neckline so I am getting quicker results. Sometimes because of hormones you will get more hairgrowth in a given area..and will make the process of hair removal linger for a few years. You can sucessfully have the hair removed off your arms. That area should react to removal quickly. Don't continue to shave or wax..seek out a good electrolysis and get the job done permanently. It may take awhile but the results are well worth it..Cher> Hi,> If the bothersome hair is only on your arms> (and cash is not a problem) you could go to a> professional, licensed provider of electrolosys> (can't spell). Have you tried laser hair removal? This is a very long lasting way to remove hair quickly from arms, legs, and other large body areas. One system was cleared last month by the FDA for permanent hair reduction. For more info, this website has lots of papers: http://www.lasertraining.com> SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!
