Along with many other things such as a lip ring...I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to dye his hair blue kind of like Mike Cox from the heavy metal band Coal Chamber. He says that he'll look like a dork and it'll wreck his hair., and I am trying to tell him that he'll look sexy, and if he doesn't like it, he can always dye it again. I just don't like that dorky nick carter thing he's got going on. I'm just wondering if his fears are justified. I mean, will it totally wreck his hair like he thinks it will?
(He's naturally blond)

You could try using food colouring - this is gentle & will wash out easily - little danger of damaging his hair - if he likes it then consult a professional with regard to permanent colour.

Are you serious? Listen to him - he doesn't want to look
like that. Blue hair would make him scary to SO many people.
He obviously also has the good sense not to pierce his
lip. No offense, but that looks absolutely freaky. As for
food coloring, I've heard of that stuff not wanting to wash
off blond hair!

The only section of society I know that prefers blue hair is ladies of a certain age (that means 60+) who, when their hair turns white, think that it might just be a bit wacky to rinse it blue. This is what your friend's hair will look like after a few washes.

There, that should put him off.

Ok, blue hair is in when it comes to all that punk rock stuff. but i mean you shouldn't really push ur b/f into it. especially if he's happy with the way he iz now. Nuthin is wrong with being plain and blond, a lot of girls go for guys that look like that. blue hair dyes are very strong and they do not wash out easily of blond hair. maybe you could find like blue hair streaker and try that.
