I`m in the process of growing out my bangs. I am growing mine out because I am tired of looking like a little girl. Good luck to you if you do, it is a long process. With a widows peak, it will look nice to have your hail pulled back!

I don`t know where the idea that if you have bangs you look like a little girl came from. There are plenty of people that have bangs and don`t look like little girls. If you have a severe widow`s peak and don`t want to show it then keep the bangs. Maybe its the overall style that is making you look like a little girl? (my 2 cents worth)
I agree with everything loveshort&blonde had to say. I have bangs, and I don`t think I look like a little girl. People think I`m older than I really am.
i didn`t mean that 2 be offensive by saying i looked like a little girl, i jus meant on me they looked young....i didnt mean on everybody with bangs. sorry. bangs r cool too..jus not on me!!
Hey! Try using gel or something to part your bangs or sweep them to the side- it created a more mature, sexy kinda look, especially if your bangs are a little on the long side, or if you`re growing them out. Good luck!

If I had wings then I could take you in I'd stay on the ground and show you some things The grass is strewn with blades of gold all sights and sounds I have been told all hopes, desires, seem to sing
I`m growing my bangs out at this moment, there down to my chin now! they were a pain when i first starting growing them out, buts it`s fine now, and way easyer without bangs!
I don`t like bangs... i grew mine out like 5 years ago and i totally love my hair the way it is. it`s really hard to grow them out but just have patience and they`ll grow! i personally think bangs do make you look younger. so grow em out.
if you want to grow them out but not show the widows peak, have your hair stylist cut just a little bit of your hair thats grows near where the peak is (on on either side of your part) so its about cheek high

You`re right, we call it a fringe. :) I grew mine out a few years ago because it was getting annoying. I used to just clip it back at the sides and get the rest of my hair trimmed regularly.

Hasn`t anyone ever heard of Betty Paige, She was a pinup model from the 50`s. She had great hair, it was long and dark and she had bangs that in my opinion made her sexy.
i hvae a very dominant widos peak and i've enver had bangs. i think my widows peak makes me me....i like it, but sometimes people will make me feel self concious about it. i figure it as people wont ever forget you with it....it makes you unique and beautifull.
