Right now I love ARTec's Volume Gel--thanks, Jane:)It amazes me nearly every time I use it--lots of volume, decent hold, and it makes my hair incredibly SOFT.Alexandra
Paul Mitchell's Sculpting Foam is great. It is not sticky and is easy to run through the hair. It is also very moisturizing and is great for defining curly hair.In terms of gel, I use Nexxus Extra gel. It has great hold that does not leave hair stiff or get flaky or dry the hair. Also great for curly hair. Also, Artec's textureline Control Gel is really good.Tiffany> Right now I love ARTec's Volume Gel--thanks, Jane:)> It amazes me nearly every time I use it--lots of> volume, decent hold, and it makes my hair incredibly> SOFT.> Alexandra

On wet or dry hair? I have the very same product but it doesn't dry softly... it's just like other gels that harden and become "crunchy". I do notice the volume though. Am interested to know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks, Woo

All I do is towel dry my hair, put maybe a nickel's worth mostly on the roots, put in the Kiwi Detangler, and blowdry. The very first time I used it, I noticed the softness.Maybe it's the difference in the texture of hair. Mine is thick, on the coarse side, slighly oily (summer), and wavy-ish (easily blown dry straight).Hope this helps!Alexandra
