QuoteReplyTopic: New Extenstion Method? Posted: December 14 2004 at 12:11pm
What do you all think of this method of extensions?
It looks similar to microlinks but the hair is attached to the link. The benefits I see of this is that you don't have to worry about the hair slipping out.
Cons - I don't know about the quality of the hair despite what it says.
I saw those in person down at hisandher.com's store in LA. Theirs were super expensive! It was like $20 for 10 strands! The price on your link seems much more reasonable.
In person they look really neat and super easy... The hair is actually glued all around the inner part of the ring so the center is where the client's hair goes in.... They seem worth a try at the price of $1.00 each the only problem I see is that the color selection is extremely weak...and I'm not sure about the hair quality.... maybe they could be used for some fun streaks....
I am really getting tired of the hair extension people coming on and trying to promote themselves. IF your going to give advice you don’t have to drop in lines like "I tried it on a customer of mine".......Its so obvious! Obviously you have enough time to be on this site all day and not with any clients.....And what’s with the bad modeling photos? When people ask for advice, just give them the answers, not obvious marketing "slip ins" Thank you. We'd all appreciate it.
here we go again jenny thinking alike...I was just going back over some other posts and cannot follow her train of thought in the different threads....Im confused with her replies to different threads!
This coming from a person whose first posts on this board were advertising the name and number of "her extentionist." Uh huh. Typically we've uncovered these posts are done by the stylist themselves to try to push work their way. Rarely does that happen.
Now, if you're referring to Kristin... the difference is, she contributes and helps and posts tutorials and offers things we couldn't get otherwise. Where you're coming from is a mystery. Do you get high first and then post? Just curious because you're kind of whacked.
You started off on the wrong foot here. It's not too late to be part of the group before we chew you up and spit you back out.
And one more thing, Bridget: I have no idea what you mean by "bad modeling shots." Kristin's photo is gorgeous and so is she. You're obviously just jealous because you're not very attractive.
Find another site to troll, Bridget--somewhere where you can get the therapy you need. We don't like your kind around here.
LMAO...jenny and amm you girls crack me up....go get em!
back to the original topic, I just want to say the more I see either this string attached to the to the hair or the wire as Kristen uses, I think that either of those look easier to use than that damn latch look needle. I always find that little tool to be a pain the my a**! The only downfall I see to the string is that you'd have to cut each on off after installing, right?
Yeah, I was wondering about that extra string piece myself. Hisandher has the string pieces too, and the site never explains what the heck you're supposed to do with them. Maybe the wire makes the most sense? It looked odd to me at first, which means it's probably ingenious....
heys guys, ive used those things its pretty cool but the hair sucks kristin was right. i would only use it for highlights or somethin.. not good hair at all...
