Hi
Dr. Angela Merkel is the new leader of German CDU Party and replaced Helmut Kohl as the leader. Unfortunately her dress and hairstyle is un-attractive ("Pudding Bowl style", according to Observer, UK). Any suggestion about the best hairstyle for her?

Financial Times:

Gerhard Schröder, the German chancellor, will seek a third mandate on September 18 in an early general election that could result in a landslide victory for the centre-right opposition. Angela Merkel, leader of the opposition Christian Democratic Union, on Monday secured support from party leaders to stand against Mr Schröder. If confirmed as the candidate, she will be in a strong position to become Germany's first woman chancellor.

Parody Song

The new top hits in German is a parody of her hairstyle:

"A girl from the East is ahead of me — why can’t she be a beauty?" “Her mouth is tugged down as deep as a cellar, her hair is a helmet."

The female role is played by Anne Onken, 27, a comedienne who captures some of Frau Merkel’s eastern German dialect. “Angela Merkel has been improving her appearance,” she said yesterday. “But that hairstyle is still very odd.”

I have a feeling that anonzzz, bms, asian--and maybe several others--are one and the same. The catchphrase is always: "What is the best hairstyle for her?"
