I saw Sarah Jessica Parker on the David Letterman show last night and her hair was adorable! It was in a layered shoulder length bob that she had styled kinda flipped out, but not too extreme. If anyone can find a picture of it that would be great!

And the angels sang.... amazing what a few sideswept bangs can do to
drastically improve a look. I'll even go on record as saying her straight
hair is very sexy, and a welcome change from her lazy curls, as is the
darker color.
SJP has always been a curiosity to me - sometimes gorgeous,
sometimes, um, not, depending on hair and makeup. I loved that short
curly bob, sorry to see it disappear. But this is pretty nice too.

The only hairstyles of hers I've ever liked was, as Curlyfan wrote, the short curly bob she had for a short period of time. It looked great on her. But I agree, this one is better that many of her others, especially the colour.
I couldn't agree more, Curlyfan! ...When she looks good, she looks very good. When she looks bad, she looks horrid...
I, too, really liked the shorter, curly bob (it actually kind of tamed her wild hair). I think that was right after she had her baby, right? Then, it kind of grew back out into a non-style. It looks beautiful and healthy in those pics!
"Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale."
In Sex In the City she wore clip in extensions that made her hair very long and straight after a full season of big being and curly. I love how she can mix it up.

Well I like to see it curly (and longer). It was just different than the usual I guess. I've never liked the blonde though, so darker is an improvement. Wish she'd stop straightening though! As a fellow curly-head, she's one of my curl idols and we have very similar curl pattern so I like to see what she does with it (gives me ideas!)

I'm a little late with the comments, but I just have to put in my 2 cents worth: She can be attractive when makeup and hair are right, but she's generally quite homely most of the time. I agree on the short, curly hair. It was more flattering than most of her do's. As for the darker color......UGH!!! She looks paler and more washed out than she usually does. Not a good choice!! Sorry, folks...can't agree with ya on that one. :)

I love her for all the reasons you don't. I love the fact that she
hasn't changed her nose or anything else, i think her curly hair blonde
or brown suits her. I prefer some blonde highlights..

If you watch "Sex in the City" you'll see her "before" NJ (nose job) in the very beginning of the show when they have all the name's of the stars and she's on the street. The first several episodes of the series she had a big beak, but later you will see she has a slimmer nose, sans the "hump". Then later still she has a very slim, straight nose.

SJP was on Leno last night. She has returned to a variation on her
usual style - long, center-parted, flat on top, wavy, and brown this
time. Yick. That center part to me just accents the her long face and
nose. The length must be extensions given her shorter 'do from a
few weeks ago. I don't even like the waves, and I always like waves!
This woman continues to mystify me. A supposed fashion icon and
actual hair-product spokeswoman who continually shows roots,
chooses bad styles, and has stayed frustratingly out of touch with
hair trends that would really flatter her so much more than this out-
of-date, severe, unflattering look. If I were her, I'd do a straight,
simple, shoulder-length style with a side part and long bangs.
Course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong....

Imo, which others seem to share, she can look really great or really bad, depending on her style choices. I, for one, prefer her longer and straighter. I also don't like her too light, or too gold.
From her movie premiere last night, the following pics. I think she looks great here...

I, too, don't see a problem. Sarah has never looked really bad in my eyes, old nose or new, old hair or new. The photo gallery on Getty shows what may have been one of her best nights ever.
rardman...thanks for the pics. The first one of her was shocking to me!!! She's got crows feet just like the rest of us!! Not a very flattering pic of her. I agree that she definitely looks better with straight hair and a side part. Aren't these stars supposed to have stylists that are the best?? Why is it some of the most unflattering hair-dos are seem on the stars?? Don't they have any say in how they look....or maybe they think they look good. Just my humble opinion, though.
