She cut a good six to eight inches from her hair to create a short off the shoulder bob. I personally think it looks fantasic. She is really one of those women who can wear any length hairstyle.

I have to disagree with your assessment about Renee being able to wear "any length hairstyle." Her hair has been shorter for some time, yet when she makes a movie they seem to give her extensions. That may be why you thought she cut six to eight inches off. I liked her -- and her hair, mind you -- in the Jerry McGuire movie, but thought she was overrated in Bridget Jones` Diary.

I don`t think this short blunt style suits her very well. Can`t say exactly why, except it just doesn`t seem to compliment her face, and looks kind of bland in these pix. Liked her much better with longer, lighter hair a la Jerry Maguire.
