One of my wife`s co-workers saw Martina in concert this past weekend in Fayetteville, Arkansas; he also got back stage passes. He called my wife while he was back stage with Martina; he knows we like her very much. He mentioned that she had cut her hair and said that it was "boy short." She`s up for top female country vocalist tonight at the AMA`s. Have to watch and see. Scoured the web for pictures but couldn`t find anything.

This could be true. If you look at this website I found, it shows a screen capture of her new video. Her hair is shorter. And then if you look at the Christmas CD, it is really short. I guess we will know tonight....
She definately did not have "boy short hair" but she did have hot, sexy hair. The link above shows her hair at the current length (as seen on AMA). This is an example of someone who looks 10 times better with shorter hair.

She looked fantastic, much better than at the CMA`s. No, it`s not "boy short;" I guess my wife`s co-worker is a long hair fan and that`s his point of reference.
This is one of those times when everything in the universe lines up perfectly!! She is one of those poster girls for short hair that makes you wanna cut off your hair!! (I`ll resist this time!) It really showcases her beautiful eyes!!

Thank for bringing Martina to our attention again HAWG. She was really cute with short hair, one of the best, BUT her long hair takes her into a rarefied zone where only divas hang. (Too bad for us guys, I suppose! lol) Check out wireimage. I don't think she's had it cut at all since last year. Thrilled, Bob
Two updates from Fashion Week (check out www.gettyimages.com and search on Martina for a ton of pics): It's REALLY long when straight (well below mid-back) and she got bangs...which I'm see sawing back and forth on whether or not I like. Looks good, but I think it looked better before. Then again, maybe some of that is that I don't necessarily like it stick straight.
Want befores? Back up a couple of pages on Getty and see pics from the SAME day before she went and got the bangs cut. How rare is it that you get to see the celeb on the same day with hair styled before and after a change?

I know what you mean. I registered the thrid day this board was open, and I am still "only" a regular member! I believe you need 500 posts to graduate to full member status, and I will be moving up to senior member with 1,000 posts soon. Then again, I only post 4 to 5 times a week, as opposed to Kramer or Fatmoogas among others who post 4 to 5 times a hour (just kidding guys OK, not really kidding! )

I have to agree with you -- I'm not in love with the stick straight look. Especially with the bangs, it seems to collapse in on her and rather than highlighting her amazing eyes (which you would expect the bangs to do), it makes her face seem especially round.

Regarding Martina: The bangs were totally unnecessary, but she sure is gorgeous with long hair. (See? I actually post news or comments about the celebrity's hair, not just flame other members.)

Martina is the ONLY short-haired woman ever to be taped inside my locker! lol She was super-hot with the pixie, but Martina with long locks blows me away. I'd *hate* for her to cut it again now. BTW, I can't see the banged photo, but I hope they don't obscure the most sensuous eyes in entertainment!

Someone tell Martina that Stevie Nicks called...she wants her hairdo back!
No shock here, but i'm hoping Martina goes back to her short hair...i thought she looked amazing then.
Honestly, she is equally gorgeous with long hair...the long hair pic a few posts up of her singing is gorgeous...but i'm not crazy about these bangs on her...I don't know why either, I usually like bangs...maybe it's just because she's never had them like this before?
