Christina going bald?

No surprise there. *shrugs* You torture your hair long enough, it's gonna rebel and fall out eventually. Maybe it'll be a lesson of sorts.
Of course, if it turns out to be alopecia or some other medical condition, everyone who poked fun will feel really guilty. . .

Yeah, I remember seeing her with natural (or natural-looking) blonde hair around the time of "Genie In A Bottle" and thinking that she had really nice hair. It was just straight and casual and cute. Of course, she says that the girl-next-door look she had going on then wasn't really "her," but it was much nicer-looking, and it must have been much lower-maintenance. Of course, she might have just been talking about the clothes, too. Either way, it does sound like she now has traction alopecia, so it will eventually grow back, but this all started because she tried to fix what wasn't even close to broken.

Didn't this same type of rumor swirl around Britney Spears about a year ago? It was the same thing that her hair was falling out from all the bleaching and was going bald and she had her head shaved and was wearing a wig until her hair grew back. It was a claim that some one heard from her hair dresser. Some people make this garbage up just because they are jelous of the other person or just stupid. I doubt Christina is going bald. With all her money her hair stylist would make sure that did not happen to her. Some people let there imagition run wild.

As for if - yes if it were ture I to believe she would wear a wig before she cuts it short, and if she were to cut it I doubt that many people would see her in short hair, because like Britney I belive she is insecure about her looks and would feel less sexy if people knew she had short hair.

I wouldn't be entirely sure about that-- I know some celebs, like Mira Sorvino, have admitted hair loss from all the things they do to their hair. Just because someone is a celebrity doesn't mean her hair is super-strong and can take so much more torture than everyone else's, of course :-P .

I doubt she'd cut her hair short if she was going bald, because you'd see the bald patches even more. She'll probably have a breakdown or suffer from exhaustion until it grows back
