There was an article in my local paper about Kirsten and an interview that she had given recently. They describer her hairstyle as unusual and that she many clips and a sprite of a ponytail and made mention that she was obviously in a growing out stage in regards to her hair. Oh yes, it also mentioned her dark roots showing.

On "The Today Show" this morning, she had a long high ponytail. Clearly, extensions.

I saw those extensions. Was it too early to get her short hairstyle ready for the morning show? I know it's been asked before, but why do so many celebrities get their hair cut short and then make it look long again?

Sometimes it's for a role in a movie and sometimes it's because they just want it long again.

In her case, I think she just lacks the self-confidence necessary for short hair. . . which is a shame, because when it was well-styled she did look pretty cute in it. . .
