Hello everyone. My first message and not my last. Just wanted to let you all know I've enjoyed your comments over the months...

Katie Couric's hair is longer than it ever has been... Gorgeous IMO. Good idea to grow the bangs out.....

Welcome, Martin. A man of obviously outstanding taste is always welcome here. (hehehe) Not only do Katie's hairlength and style look great, the color works for her, too. I love her blonde hair, especially when she's wearing black. She definitely makes my top 10 list.

I don't like the whole "wall of bangs" thing she has going on. It seriously makes her head tilt sideways...she should go shorter again. Not super short like she had it, but the cut that gail o'grady has would look fabulous!

My two cents.

If Katie were to cut her hair as short as this Gail O'Grady then most people would consider that a return to the old days and it would certainly be a 'huge' change compared to the way she has worn it the last four years. It would also probably be a mistake although that's subjective.

I like the length of Katie's hair, but the style doesn't do much for me. It looks very heavy and flat, without any movement, especially with those ski-slope bangs angling down to one side (that really do keep her head tilted!).

Would love to see her keep the length but add lots of flippy layers and bangs, to give it some life and movement. This length only works if you do something with it, I think.

Katie had the great bangs, flippy layers and it looked great on her but for what ever reason she didn't keep them. Looking at her hair and thinking back to the show when they put the wig/extentions in her hair I'm betting she is on the grow for something noticable longer.

I don't think you can expect Katie to go any longer than where she is right now. She's had the 'longer' hair for 4 years now and it's never really gotten any longer than shoulder length. Journalists don't often wear their hair longer and especially older journalists don't wear their hair longer than shoulder length.
