No "She's all That" for Ms. Cook. The short hair just doesn't work in comparison to the long. Her long hair looked very well kept and flattering for her look. Now she looks more gawky IMO.
Hate it. From wow to blah in a few easy snips. She looks far to much like a "serious student"(no time to put forth any effort) now. That cut, imo, is the picture perfect illustration of a non-style. Too bad.

I believe she looked more ordinary with the long hair. With the somewhat shorter hair she looks more up to date and professional. She is cute that way too.
i think she looks like crap now, no longer sexy. short hair is just not sexy. it can occasionally be "cute", or "pretty", but never sexy.granted there is probably like 5% of the straight male population who would disagree, but the truth remains, at least in the majority of todays society, long hair is sexier.why do you think most(99.99%) of female porn stars have long flowing hair?because, it's what almost all guys dig(who are not hairdressers, at least).they may not be great examples of anything else, but they drive this point home.it is their job to market themsleves in the manner that appeals to the masses.long hair, heels, lingere.you don't see them with boring little bobs, flats, and flannel pj's do ya. i guess i strayed from the topic a bit, but my point was that i used to think she was dead sexy, now i wouldn't look twice. this board is cool, peace all peace, thi
Johnny, You are living 40 years ago. 99% of female porn stars don't have long hair, they wear all kinds of styles and lengths these days from what I have seen of it (not that I spend alot of time looking at porn sites). Also a small fraction of the male population spends much time looking at porn, most of us have women. The women in porn are not reflective of the general population of women.
The majority of women today in the modern western world wear short hair or fairly short hair, and most of them have men. If short hair on women was unpopular with men, that would obviously not be the case. Whatever hair length you like on women is your option, but get your brain out of the 1950s and don't insult the rest of us who like something different than yourself.
Anyone ever notice how the posts with inflamatory remarks are usually done by unregistered people?
Actually, from the survey's I've seen in women's magazines like Ladies Home Journal and Glamour over the years (don't ask me for specifics, I don't have them), I seem to recal that the percent of men who prefer hair "short" runs about 20%, about 30% like it "medium" (from the shoulders to bra strap length) is about 30% or so, with the rest liking Pamela Sue Anderson hair.
Now I think we need to remember that the 20%, 30% and 50% are all correct, as this is an opinion, not a fact. I happen to like Ms. Cook's current style, didn't like her very long, or very short looks. JUST AN OPINION, NOT A FACT!!!!! Does't make me right or wrong, it just makes me....me!

I've read similar surveys ssjockey. I believe your info is about right, something like 20-25% of men prefer short hair on women.
If you look at just the metropolitan area male population ove rthe age of 25, it's a much higher percentage than that. That is one of the reasons why in major cities so many women wear short hairdos, not just because they like it, but because they know that men find them attractive in short bob cuts, short pixies, etc..

Getting back to Rachel, one can only hope she's wearing a wig! She couldn't possibly believed that her tress perfection could be improved upon, could she? This look wrings bone dry the sensuality from her hair. Bob
