I have straight hair naturally (ERGH!) and it refuses to curl. It frizzes. How can I get gorgeous curls? I have tried hot rollers but my hair doesn't really curl...just frizzes. Why anyone would want to straighten their hair is beyond me...

Aww.... I LOVE my straight hair! (It isn't all straight, though, some of it is frizz... but only a small percentage of it). I think the best thing about straight hair is that it allows for smooth bump-free updos such as the French twist.
Sme straight hair just doesn't hold a curl. If you've tried everything and nothing works to curl your hair, I'd call it genetic. My hair curls really quickly but re-straightens really quickly too--I usually put it in a bun when it's damp. By the time it dries, the hair is curly and wavy.
Two hours later,... ::nyerrrrrt:: all of it is straight again. I think all we have left is to get to know our hair really well, and just be happy with it no matter what it can and cannot do. Similar to what your signature says, hair doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful either.
my hair is a butthead when it comes to curling too, but i found something that makes ur hair VERY curly (spirals) I think its pretty (just not on me). Its called Wrap, snap, and go comfort curlers. u can get em @ walgreens 4 really cheap. Just wash ur hair @ night, put these in, and sleep on em. In the morning take em out and PRESTO! hope they work 4 ya!!!!
