QuoteReplyTopic: My conversation today with Pro Styles.... Posted: June 27 2005 at 1:16pm
I had previously ordered a price list from Pro styles on their prohair and got a call from them to make sure i got everything okay. The lady was extremely friendly and explained that they will soon be selling remi and non remi human hair in the summer. I have asked her to contact me when they get the human hair in with prices. Anyone else think they might try the human hair?

I though Prostyles taught heat seals. And yes I know some people
can do the heat seal with HH. But does this mean they teach that
in their class? Cause that would be a reason to take their
class...
mmm so they do. I wonder if they will just be selling it or if they will teach a method to install it? It was pro sytles Uk i spoke to but im interested now on what they will be doing.
I just took the Prostyles USA class, and they do not teach the method using human hair. In fact, they went into detail about why they think the monofiber is more advantageous over human hair.
Sounds like Prostyles UK and Prostyles USA differ a little bit in their product offerings.
Yep its confirmed. prostyles UK will be selling human hair this summer. They may just be selling the hair as an extra as it certainly couldnt be used with their method. Their sending me prices when their brochure comes out (next week) so ill post the results.

SOmeome here said that they had heat seals done with HH where they used
just a tiny bit of synth in the braid at the top in order to make the
seal. I wonder if the extensionist figured this out on their own
or someone is teaching it. I'd love to see that. But anyhow
evidently it can be done. just not necessarily easily.
is prostyles the one that does 3 or 4 way braids before the seal?
Not sure chick. Ah, get what you mean mocha. They didnt say whether it was 100% HH or mixed or what but in honesty i was in a rush when i spoke to them so didnt ask any questions. Im excited about trying ther HH though so ill keep use posted with pics.

16" - £28.95 / £38.84
18" - £32.89 / £40.63

I dont know exactly what the difference is between these hairs as they both say they are root point correct only the European hair is more expensive. Im assuming these prices are bofore VAT.
Do you know what method Prostyles UK will teach for installing human? I have experimented on the doll head doing heat seals with human hair and a little bit of synth hair and it seems like it could work maybe.
