I just wanted to make sure..but was the general consensus about the WaWa wave that it wasn't as good as the straight?...

Now that I'm finally recovered from my surgical nightmare I want to put shrinkies back in...until I can get down to Ga then I'm going to get some PH and have pinch braids done

Also....last time I had a problem with slippage....any helpful hints for that?...I do plan on getting some of the longer ones from AMM's site but just in case....

I did not have good experiences with either the Wa Wa straight or wave.  Within a few weeks both were very frizzy beyond repair.

I had a good experince with the straight it was just a pain to curl it..I had it get frizzy but I just used some Dome spray and my conair Ion hair dryer/curler thingy and it straightened out

I agree that even the straight does get a bit frizzy.  But if you know it's coming its livable at the cost of WAWA.  I like putting a tiny bit of LG on my tips right before putting them in (so it's still wet/tacky) and using the extra long shrinkies when its possible (ie not visible)

I agree ... straight Wawa can get a bit fizzy but fixes right up with a
hot curling iron or hot curlers.

As for slippage ... I agree wth Mochachip ... LG is the way to go.
