Does anyone know where I can still get banana clips? Those big type from the 80's?  I'm sure they are considered tacky, but I love those things--they make your hair look so long when its up.  The only ones I have come across our cheapie plastic type that aren't very big.  I seem to remember you could get really big ones for really thick hair long ago.  Anyone have a clue if they are still around?

I loved those things!!!  I still have mine, but no I don't still wear it!!  I only had the plastic kind, and I found one in particular that worked great for my fine, thin hair.  All the other ones sliped out!!!  Ahhhh, the wonderful 80's  Now that I buy my hair, I could probably get it to feather, you know, the Farrah Fawcett look!!  Ok, back to reality, enough on memory lane!!!

Wish I could help you out CherryCoke!

Ha. Yes I miss banana clips. I'm not interested in the banana clip extensions jsut the banana clips themselves.  The ones that the extensions use are usually too small for what Im looking for. I think I used to get like extra jumbo ones. The regular 6-7 inch ones wont work in my hair. Plus the cheap ones break so easily. The nicer ones you used to be able to get in the day didn't come seperated all the time. I've been searching online, can't find much.
