Hair Extensions in OKLAHOMA

Hiii.  After chopping off my beautiful long hair about a year ago, I've decided I want to try for extensions.  I've been reading the topics and posts on this site and honestly, I'm beginning to become concerned.  I didn't realize the extent of the damage that hair extensions can cause.  So, I have a few questions.

1) Does anyone know of a professional/reasonable place to get extensions in Oklahoma?

2) I realize that the damage can be caused by the stylist or the customer not taking proper care of the extensions but, what are the best extensions as far as hair health goes?

I want extensions but I do NOT want to wear a wig for the rest of my life.  Do most people who get extensions end up with some type of hair damage (major or minor)?  I've noticed that most of the hair ripping out and hair loss was due to glue?  What's the best alternative to glue???

I agree,  If I were you,  I'd do a stylist search through Hairpolice.com   .... that said,  I am a hairpolice trained extensionist, and there is a super steep learning curve to this method, there is some skill involved, so you want to find out how many heads of pinchbraids the stylist has done.  If you are one of the first 20, the price should be reasonable, and you should expect occasional slippage. 

    You can also try doing a google search for Oklahoma extensionists to find someone to sew or glue in wefts. If you want to DIY.  I'd say read the shrinkie tutorial and buy AMM's shrinkies.  they are easy ! Cheers
