yep, i was doing this when i started waves.. wasnt no1 really to ask "how do i brush" :/ Till one of muh niccas started roastin me and said, "why am i brushin da back of my head going up" ... from dat day on i been doin it down.

howabout instead of experimenting with your hair (which you will really regret later) you focus on getting an even brushing pattern.. If you're just starting out then you have an advantage in knowing that brushing your hair in a complete circle will get you connected waves. Then you won't have to spend time later tryin' to change the direction of them. Chris
