Do any of you have experience with full weaves?  I am wondering if it will work for my hair type.  I am white and have wavy hair.  Thanks!

Anyone can get a sew-in as long as you have enough hair to braid to sew the weave on to? You can get any type of hair you want you can even leave a little out in the front and blend with the sew-in.

Good Luck

I personally have never seen a full weave with caucasian hair, just integrated ones.

I've seen them on my coast "east" BUT I would say that my girl (caucasian) got her sew-in and she complained that it was way too tight and wasn't (I did it myself) BUT she ended up getting fusion which looked better and lasted longer on her type of hair

A sew-in works on all types of hair. However if the hair is really silky like type 1a(straight)....the braid itself may slip easier and you may have to get it done more frequently. Your braids shouldn't hurt either...that's too tight!!!

I wore a full weave for about 3 years and I have fine, crappy caucasian hair.  The only part of my hair that was left out was a small 1/2" portion around the hairline.

My stylist braided up all my hair incorporating synthetic hair into the braids to better anchor it.  It stayed in very well for 8-10 weeks.

The only part that I didn't like was that it got very itchy underneath all of the braids.
