what exactly is distressed hair? and can someone show a pic of it (male)? i did a google search but im not exactly sure if these are how it is

Do you mean "stressed" hairs? Stressed hairs are hairs that are stretched and warped from yanking too hard with a brush or comb.

no its actually called distressed hair.. i found this REDKEN product "Redken Extreme Conditioner, Fortifier for Distressed Hair" heres the description:

it might mean the same thing.. i dunno
