Hello everyone I'm new here and really excited about tring DIY extensions. I've been reading some posts and reasearching dif techniques.

Hand Fusion (i think thats what its called) seems to be easier than Shrinkies. All i'd need is Glue gun, Glue sticks, and any hair....Right? All id do i get a section of hair ,put glue on the weave and press my hair into the extension and roll together

Shrinkies i'd need Shrinkies, hot iron, pre tipped hair, & threading wand. Also the process seems more time consumig..

So Which is best??

Yes pro-shells, I've not tried them but they're meant to be as good as extentubes, you can get it all from www.shrinkies.net you need a pulling tool, the shells of course and some pliers to close them, there is no glue inside and they last perfect x

I think protubes are way better than extentubes because they crimp down very flat.

Fusion is hard to master, in fact after about 15 years of extension work, I still haven't mastered it myself, therefore I don't offer that type.

For a newbie, I'd go with protubes.
