Hola, to all. I am a licensed cosmetologist here
in MIA and have taken countless pricey extension courses the confusion is…. What
is the best system to use as far as hot fusion (MegaHair, Monkey Brazz,
etc. ) ? I have been thinking about taking a SoCap training course. Should I ?
( for learning cold fusion ) In all these courses they taught us not to put
extensions in the client’s crown & temple area. So how or what do you do to
blend the natural tresses in with the extensions ? Also, which company carries
the best shrinkies ? I brought some on e-bay and my husband said that's the industrial
shrink tube that electricians use and I refuse to experiment on my hair or
anybody else with those. I really don't want to invest or better yet waste
anymore money on systems & training classes that are absolutely worthless.
If you all could help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks ~Liz
Hello, my name is Shiry and I am in your corner also. There are so many distrubutors out there and trying to distinguish which method to use is really an experimental process. I know that I am wearing a couple of the fusion pieces in my own hair. I really don't care for the fusion but a lot of stylist have had a great deal of luck with it. I wish that I could say the same, but in a sense if you are not fully trained how to use the product you don't know which one to use. I got certified through a lady and is certified, but she no longer sells the product so, now I have order from a manufacturer. In the beginning when I got back from my training I was not happy with the glue because to me the glue was to thick. So, I didn't care for that adhesive, so now I have ordered the adhesive lined shrinkies, keratin glue and Liquid Gold. So I will practice on my manequin and myself until I feel which ever technique I am comfortable with. I learned four techniques for a $1000.00, they were the microlinks, undectectable, fusion and flat method. I wish you the best of luck, we will soon figure it out. Some people like to offer just one or two methods while others offer just one.Well, I want to offer a cold/hot fusion method. Some people can't tolerate the glue. Good luck
i personally do not do fusion, however there are tons of threads here to research it. glad to hear u take classes, that is so important to becomming a professional extentionist, sets u apart from the rest.
