Waves Gone

Ok..

I was growing my hair out for like 4 weeks and my waves were improving fast and i was on the verge of getting 360s.

I have a thing i have to go to on tuesday so i got my hair cut today to my waves would look fresh

Today was the first time i told the barber a number to cut and it was a new barber anyway i said a number 2 wtg

So...he started cutting the back and said cutting wtg wont cut anything it will only cut the loose hairs you got

then i just said if you sure my waves will still be intact go ahead so he started cutting atg.

When he was finishished my waves are very very unnoticable
and i can barley see them

I got home put some carrot cream and some lets jam.....but it didnt help!

After that i when to go take a shower and i brushed my hair under the flow of the water

Now my hair is stragjit and i cannot see any waves it just straghit

Does this mean i have to start all over again or are they still there because this is the first time ive got a cut and see no waves i feel like a wanna cry.
These waves took to dam long to get and dissaper like this

PLease help me out and tell me what to do to get them back to where they were and if i have to start over im just gunna quit and go to curls

Yeah they just unnoticable do ya meth and next time or any time you get a atg cut you go up a gaurd size.

yeah fam dont worry kid..that happens and i have had that happened to me where they where unnoticeable too..but when they come back kid they be even hard hitting then before..just do your meth and keep brushing kid..this will help you train them and get the connects that you want...use some kida super gro..or sumthin and that will help speed up the process..the longest is a month before they start back hitting

^ it's happened to me.....its happened to every waver on this board. u could almost say its part of the process. u just need to train ur waves more. just put more focus in brushin....thats all fam...and they'll come in.

WELL LET ME SPREAD MY KNOWLEDGE WELL KNOWING THAT YA HAIR THAT USED TO HAVE WAVES IS TRAINED TO GET THEM SHOULDNT TAKE LONG TO GET EM BACK AM I RIGHT? ITS HAPPENED TO ME AND I BELIVE EVERY WAVER ON DIS FOURM TRUST ME LIKE MY OLD FAVIROTE MOVIE SAYS " NEVER GIVE UP NEVER SURRENDER" SO DONT GIVE UP AND SURRENDER TO GETTING CURLS UNLESS THATS WHAT U WANT BUT IF U LIKE WAVES GO PULL DAT BRUSH OUT AND START BRUSH THE SAME WAY AGAIN... YOUR WAVES SHOULD COME BACK IN ABOUT 3 TO 4 WEEKS TRUST ME

props 2 ice-man. U definitely know wats going on here. Back 2 the question, thats normal. Sometimes you cant see tha waves, sometimes u can bcos of the lighting reflecting on the mirror. U jus gotta continue 2 brush, nothing else but brush!

i remember when my old barber gave me an incorrect cut. my waves slowly started to dissappear because he cut the opposite way of my hair growth. a big key in getting waves is how your hair is being cut.
