I just saw the video.Its always exciting to see new methods.It looks to be a weft method with fusion.I've seen it done with microrings and shrinks.They just put a twist on it by doubling the weft.Thats the first time I've ever seen it done with fusion.

Looks good except for the part the website proclaims:

"With good maintenance DoubleHair can stay in the hair for 8 months."

Why do companies like this want to deceive clients and run the risk of damaging their hair?

Couldn't you sew two wefts together at each end and then and inch or so in between? Seems as if someone could make this system work with what we use with wefts.....hmmmmm.......where is sherrie......need someone to expiriment...lol..... maybe I'll try some like this....maybe some protac and the use the hair on each side and run a @#$@$# THING around it...... just a thought................
Thanks,
JeepGirl

Current install-Bohyme Bodywave #30 and #14 in the straight hair/ they didn't have the #14 in bodywave, so I mixed them...works great!

I have a sneaking suspicion that Geo1265 is the same George that used to push Balmain  here about a 1-1/2 ago.  For those of you who were here then, remember the blatant advertising done for Balmain with the avatar with the giagantic red head?  That was also someone name George...curious...

Metal you are sooo right this guy pops up here every so often to blow his horn and then poof by by George . I don't see any benefit in this method. Most wefts are thicker than this and installing them with the shells instead means no fusion mess to take out. Looks like they took a simple idea and threw some fusion at

This is definitely not a new idea guys.  I got a sample of this from Balmain nearly a year ago.  I think to say that that model they did on the video is an advert for it, I don't think her hair looks that good.  You can clearly see where her natural hair ends.  I chucked it in the bin.  My concern with this method was that there was a slight gap between the scalp and the weft which when brushing would have to potential to tug the natural hair, when the weft is pro-tacted in or glued in the brush just glides straight over because it is streamline.  Just my two cents anyway x

haha metal and marie -

it struck me also that this guy pops up now and again - thinking he's pretty sneaky coming in here oh have you seen this video;

the hilarious part is being the DIYers that we are people are already figuring out how to DIY without buying their advertised product lol. we are a clever bunch.

This looks cool, We can easily copy the idea ourselves too :) it looks like it would only take a few minutes to do a whole head.  I'll have a go with some crappy wefts i've got leftover on my mannequin :)

I actually tried this method on myself a long time ago.  I didn't like it.

8 months? pfffffft.

And yeah, I can see a simple knot or two on a weft.  One thing I dont like though, is how much weft is being supported by just those strands.  Seems like it would be a lot of weight.
