QuoteReplyTopic: Did my first protac install.. Posted: March 23 2006 at 5:33pm
Thanks everyone... all the suggestions and information on here was so helpful, I would have never ever even known about protac if i didn't comer to this sight.. its so awesome
Well, as from my excitement i installed my first set of extension with protac and it was so easy, they are much much more comfortable than any other method i have tried. Today was the first day I washed them and so far so good. I am alittle nervous about the protac slipping out but that hasn't happed yet. oh, i used pretipped extensions and stuck them to the protac which worked good but i have had 3 of them come out, i am thinking I didn't get them stuck to the glue as well, the wefts would be nice because I wouldn't have that problem so i ordered some weft hair 4 oz of remy cutical wavy so that will be something new, hope its good hair. I will post some pics soon, currenly at work..
thanks again everyone

Thanks everyone, i could have done a better job with the pics/ the
flash is bad but it was late, and i never posted pics before but i can
take better ones latter, now that i know how to post them..I feel
accomplished now, hehe
Lets see, I have only two long rows of protac in I attempted to show
the bottom row of the protac in one pic. The top row is just above my
ears going from about ear to ear. The bottom row is were I stuck most
of the darker pretips. I ordered the hair off of ebay and i am 99
percent sure its remy pretipped hair in shades 613, 24, and 27 they
really blend well with my own hair. I have alittle over 150 pretipps
stuck to the Pro-Tac, i had a little extra 613 remy weft from some clip
in extensions that I stuck to the tape as well. My own hair is getting
pretty long, actually its longer than shoulder length. I could have
done a better job putting in the top row of my Pro-tac, i have it
alittle to close to my R ear but it blends in so its not a big deal,
next time I will be more carefull. My own hair is very fine, so with
the microlinks method I had alot of the links show through, but with
this method I havn't had any problems at all..

A few days ago I ordred from Just Hair by Head 2 Toe 4oz of remmy cuticle hair for $89 dollars ( i hope its a good deal, I am still new with extensions and purchasing hair)
Yep, did the extensions all by myself was really simple actually, before I enlisted my fiance to put in the mirco links, he was good acutally
