Aight, u might be sittin there wonderin, what da **** is this?
These are my waves brushed back.  As you can see, they are not parted in perfect rows.  Although brushed down they seem to come together well, they're not.  People with waves that are completly unconnected are like this except worse.  Now I have to ask some interesting questions, I have been brushing my crooked waves on the back for like months, scalped them even and they still didnt come in straight.  How da hell does brushing the same exact direction possibly fix this?  I know people on here have done that brushing forever and dont have good connection.  Maybe it is possible to reposition the hair in rows manually.  Sounds crazy but just a thought
here's a crappy PAINT diagram I made

Oh btw, that diagram, thats how they look BRUSHED BACK, when they are brushed down like normal its basically the same except the curl covers the hair flat to the scalp, but still pops up a bit making the wave u see.  Im gonna go try to manually realign some of my waves, lol... hit me back on this ish, Im tired of seeing the same info repeated a million times on here, we need to get progressive, not just answer the same ol questions with the same ol answers.  We need to find new answers to those questions.

Work on that and let us know how that goes...I agree that we do need to find some new answers for those that the brushing doesnt work for. From my personal experience the brushing is working for me but has taken time it wasnt instant...also since we are always telling ppl what works for one might not work for the other...Its somthin too really think about ...Keep comin with the observations and theories

Alright, I think I'll be the wave guniea pig, I realize waves are pretty tough to break, and brushing back, all sorts of sh*t as long as your hair is LONG its super easy to get them back.  Like I washed my hair and brushed them back all the way to make backward waves.  It worked, pretty lame though.  fixing it was as easy as brushing with the hard brush forward, and finishing with the soft.  the hard takes care of business and the soft reveals the waves

Yeah waves are tough to break once the pattern is set its pretty difficult to change it...My uncle slicks his hair back and he has reverse structered waves but sometimes he brushes them foward, its interesting...but back in the day guys used to slick their hair back all the time and have waves...

now dats some interesting observation u know. Its kinda crazy man. U have guys who find it so easy 2 wave 360, whilst u have others who are almost there but find certain parts of the hair not waving properly or wateva.

It is really hard to try and take hairs out of their part and put them in a new one.  I dont see how continually brushing will fix anything though.  Wont that just continue to re-enforce the wrong waves?  cuz thats what its done for me.  I think Im doing a fade next time to start over the sides and back.

does it not have anything to do with the amount of pressure we use with our hands.  were perhaps right handed people brush harder on the right... then with the left hand brushing the left side of your head, waves coming in perfectly...what is up with that?,,

im trying to see if im not puting in enough moisturizer on my right side or something because it even seems drier, or frizzier..

Readers are many, thinkers are rare.
