I am looking to grow out my chin length, bob style and fine hair. In the meantime, I heard great things about Great Lengths, it doesn't ruin your hair. Has anyone had experience with Great Lengths and either found this to be or not to be the case? Thanks ;-)

Great Lengths is very expensive. You should look into Protac tapes and
wefted hair. I'm growing mine out this way-- started with a pixie in
September and am already to a short bob, with no damage to my hair at
all. You do it all yourself and the cost is a mere fraction of professional
extensions!

(Check out my pics and story in my post called Pixie to Shoulder Length in
Five Months.)

I have hair dreams, it is similar to great lengths and i have had like 50 bonds come out  . The fusion has broken off a few of my hairs when the bonds came out but not a lot. I would be careful brushing if you decide on this method and be sure they are installed and removed correctly. I would think about doing the protacs or another method unless you have a lot to spend. I wish I would of researched more before spending thousands on the hair dreams system. You can buy good quality hair online and try it yourself or you can find an extensionist to put in the hair for you at a fraction of the price for Greatlengths.

Great lengths is really great I hear, but, they always say you can leave
them in for 6 months, which isn't a good idea, and would cause lots of
damage. They always look amazing, but they are so expensive!!!

Like everyone else said, look into pro-tacs, my hair (and hair dresser and
people around me have all commented about this) actually looks
HEALTHIER than before doing extensions!!! Some other methods I have
lost some hair with, protacs, I just have normal shedding. It's amazing.

I have short bob hair and have Great Lengths. I love mine I have had them in since Jan. 18th. My pics are on here.  I love mine!!! Mine is growing alot I can tell. I am getting them out on May 3.  I will miss them. I know my hair will be alot longer because I have not had anything cut.  True, they are expensive, but they are truly worth it to me.  Everyone loves them and only a couple came out due to me poking at them.  Only2 have come out since Jan.  with brushing and the was because I was brushing too hard...
