Hi my bleached hair had to get cut on the top layers. as it was dry. So i now wear 2 pieces of extension hair to even out the length. I cut the weft from ear to ear and sewed 2 pieces together and attached clips. is this safe to wear every day?

I wear one weft ear to ear. There's a lot of hair on it but it's only one skin weft aka seamless weft. It has four clips. If you feel pulling than you need to adjust. Also, per this message board, I started teasing my own hair a bit before I attach the clips so that helped with pulling.

If your wefts are doubled it should be fine but if it feels too heavy than you need to do two wefts clipped separatly or one weft with a lot of hair.

I have worn clip ins , 4  thick tracks, daily for about 6 years.  It's only been in the last few months that I'm seeking thinning and breakage on the sides of my head.

For lack of a better alternative, I'll still continue wearing them.

My hair isn't strong enough anymore to have anything put in permanently.
