My mom bought some Clairol Hydrience haircolor
and gave me the conditioners that came with and
theyre called Pantene Intensiv Moisture ( it also said
Intensiv Hyrdation so Im not sure of the name of it)
and I have it a try last nite just for the heck of it becuz
going by ther ingredients it didnt look very
moisturizing but i was amazed at the how soft my
hair was as i rinsed it out!!! it was ULTRA soft so I
went ahead and did a deep treatment with it and
amazingly for me my hair did not feel like burnt toast
even b4 i ironed it and there were no tangles!! just
softness,, Im gonna see if i can find this separate on
the shelves.....
Hair type: 3b some c?, fine strands, last relaxer sept 05, never again!!! current :ap length on sides,,nearly bsl in back, damn those old frazzled ends! I am hair OBSESSED

I tried this yesterday! My mother-in-law bought the colour and got it too, and I just wanted to see what it would do. So after i did my rimse I put it in. My hair was soft and shiny! I had a great wash and wear day! I couldn't find it either but I'll let you know if I do.

o you too! it is really wonderful stuff , im
having one of the best hair days EVER ,, i went to
the drustore today and compared the ingredients
and the closest thing I could find was the Pantene
Pro V deep moisturizing treatment,, the ingredients
are not exactly the same but they are close ,, maybe
even better,,, also the Pantene Restoratives
conditioner has similar ingredients only it contains
sodium hydroxide which always scares me lol
because its in lye or it is lye lol   I see you're
Jamaican 2! Im one half Jamaican

Yes, I miss my home sooo much, Can't wait for summer! Have you ever been there? Neways, this stuff is great! I used it again today and I got the same results! I know pantene is suppose to be bad but I love to way my hair looks! I wouldn't use the one with the sodium hydroxide though, it scared me too. The intensive moisture creme that I use to use would leave my hair dry the next day but was great for straightening. I still use the shampoos and conditioners sometimes just because I already had couple bottles before I read about it being bad for your hair. I'm go shopping on Thursdays so I'll see if I find it then.

No, i have never been to jamaica, Id like to go but my
mom is really strict about sending me and she
thinks ist too dangerous ,, esp becuz Im mixed
and some of my own jamaican family could stand
that my mom married away from her race,, thats just
ignorance i guess, Im still gonna go someday but im
scared about the roaches LOL! anyhoo I hated
Pantene also, I really had something against them
till now cuz i just couldnt deny that this
conditioner was super good,, it turned my hair soooo
soft and it stayed more moisturized even after the
wash (b4 i flat iron it) and thats a hard act to pull

Lol, OT: I understand what u mean about the race thing and my mom also told me that it dangerous in certain parts now. It's soo sad when I hear this because it's such a beautiful place besides all the violence. Anyways: I need to try straightening my hair with this thing since it worked so good for you, but that's like months from now. Keep me posted and let me know if you find it in a good size bottle because I used all the one I had and I'm tempted to go buy some colour just to get it.

yeah,, it is kinda sad, but I do hope to go there
someday ,, anyway I actually find that using this
when you want to keep your hair straight might be a
little harder depending on how moist it makes your
hair becuz I found that my hair was too soft and it
didnt hold straight very well so I ended up having to
iron many parts all over again, I love the moisture but
i think it works better for when the hair is gonan be
curly,, I think I may have found the closest thing to it
without sodium hydroxide is the Pro V deep
moisturizing treatment and its 8 oz ,, i bought it
earlier in the week,, i try it out and let u know if it
works like the one in the haircolor

OK, this is good because I don't really wanna use heat on my hair as yet but I also love how moist this thing leaves my hair. I don't think I've ever seen the deep moisturizing treatment but I can't wait to hear your review.  When I straighten my sisters' hair I alway used the Profective Break-free leave-in strengthener, it's pink, and I use a touch of Hot Six Oil mist to make it shine and they work wonders! I don't know if you've ever tried the Profective line but I Love it! I also use to use their relaxer which I loved and still use it on others hair. The leave-in strengthener was what saved my hair when I used Revlon relaxer once. My hair would just fall on my shoulders when I comb it and I would cry all the time, then I found the Profective and after 2 weeks of using it everynight my hair stopped shedding! (I talk too much) But I just wanted you to know that it is great for straightening and it protects your hair from heat. Even though I have natural hair now, sometimes I still use it when I pull me hair back. Then I would just tie it with a scarf or old stocking leg and the result would be straight edges and hair. My sisters are amazed at how good it works and so am I!

ps. sorry for the long post
