I have the typical 360 wave pattern.  I have always wanted to have my waves going backward.  I tried it but there were many gaps in my hair, is it possible to train the waves to go in that direction over time?  i.e. brushing backwards from crown and sides.

  yeah that is where I saw it, in a book at school.  These Jazz dudes and it looked really cool.  Plus it is not like everybody else.  I think those guys used chemicals though, I wonder if you can do that naturally.

^ yea u can...it jus wouldn't look natural cause ur goin against the grain. the only way it would look good is if u use a perm/kit....but thats goin against the rules.
