I have had them since January 18th.  they have lasted so well.  NO TANGLES.  Lost  a few but that is natural.  They have lasted sooo long.. I will be sad to get rid of them..   I know I will miss the length, fullness, etc.  I just love them.  I get compliments every day on them.   Never had people compliment me before on my hair that is.

Maybe I can get a spiral perm if My hair is long enough. I love the curly spirally look

Can“t you just put the hair back in yourself? Or go back to the salon and have it done again?

Well, no matter what they say; If the hair looks and feel great still, then I se no problem in reusing it again. Just snip of the part of the hair where the glue is.

Regards,
Synne

It came from great lengths ready to go, she used the fusion gun to attach it.  She told me it is not reusable unless it gets redone or whatever.

Bunner. Sorry to hear that it's such an adjustment when taking them out. I have also spent thousand on my hair and now do it myself for less then $200. Why dont you try that?
Current install: 18" Bohyme 18/22 mixed with 613 -200 microlinks.....pre tipped by me!!! (never again!)

Hey Paula,

It's a real bummer that you can't get stylists to re-install Great Lengths hair.  I have tried alot of different hair, and that (Great Lengths) is without a doubt the best quality hair I have come across.  It's such a waste of beautiful hair.  I too could not afford the cost of Great Lengths every three months or so, therefore I changed to the fushion method with Bohyme hair and was equally as satisfied.  If you can find a good stylist to install your extensions with that method, I'm sure you will be very pleased. I know it's so hard to be without them once you've had extensions.

Hey Paula,

It's me again, and I was just thinking (No! it doesn't hurt) lol.  If I was you, I would ask your stylist to save the Great Lengths hair when he or she removes it, and have somebody else re-install it for you. If he or she doesn't agree to do it, then have somebody else remove your extensions and re-install them.  When you spend that much money on hair and it's such good quality, I see no reason to trash it.

Oh! and one more thing!  Once the extension has been removed, all that needs to be done is to cut off the old bond and either re-tip the bond and re-apply or don't even re-tip hair and just fuse into your hair. Anybody that does hair extensions will understand what I'm talking about.  DON'T THROW THAT BEAUTIFUL HAIR AWAY!

PaulaJayne after you get the GLs out get your butt on over here to my place and Ill show you how to do the pro-tac tape method!

Definitely have your stylist save that GL hair. You can re-tip it and use it again at a later date!

Ditto.. if the hair can be reused, you wanna save it!!! If the stylist won't let you, find someone else to do your removal who will let you save the hair..

Who would I get to re tip it?  Sherrie= Ok, I will be right over!! I am serious... I want to give my real hair a break for a while then I know I will miss them sooooo much that I will have to have to have them again.

Sherrie, can you do them? I would pay you of course!!!

I will ask her but she said that the hair will be on the floor all messed up and that I could not reuse them.  There is no one around here that removes them and she is the only I trust to do it.

The hair will only end up on the floor if she throws it on the floor after she removes the extension!  That's just the Great Lengths tactic to get you to spend another ton of money.  It's in the stylist's best interest to tell you that you can't reuse the hair since the stylist marks up the hair  a lot and makes a profit off of that too.

I have removed many fusion installs, and I just set aside the hair because it can be reused again.  You paid for this hair, and as we all know good hair is like gold, so don't let her throw away your investment!

Metalgirl is right.. It will take her two additional seconds to NOT throw the hair on the ground so you can reuse it..

I will just tell her I want the hair and leave it at that.  If she says it is useless or whatever I will say I want to keep it.

ew, GL people make me feel...sad. I know they are taught this way, but I
hate waste of any kind, especially of BEAUTIFUL HAIR!! That just makes
me....sick!! (A LITTLE hair obsessed?? Yes.)

And Paula, go with the pro-tac! Start doing it yourself, it may not be GL,
but I am sure you will be just as pleased with it! Plus, as far as price
goes....it's unbelievably affordable.

I have not clue how to do Pro Tac. how long does it last? Sherrie said she could show me.. I am serious too SHerrie, my email is pjsgbk@aol.com.  Email me and we can work out something for you to show me.  About how much money would it cost to do Pro Tac and for like 12 inch hair? Two colors, a light brown and a blonde and all the supplies? How long does it last??

Yikes girl, she's the only one you trust and she's telling you since the hair falls on the floor it's all over? Ask her if there's any way she can either avoid letting the hair fall on the floor OR pick the hair up off the floor if it happens to go on the floor?
