Help. I have always had straight hair. I needed a change. So I went to a salon to get a medium perm. The hairstylist thought my hair looked to heavy, so she cut it. She cut 75 percent of it to the length of my chin!!! The rest is just below my shoulders. I do like the curl, but the cut is aweful. I don't know what to do. I just got it yesterday and I am tempted to wash it . Or maybe try to straighten it. The problem is not the perm though. It the Carol Brady looking cut. Anyone have any suggestions. Should I tell the stylist?? There is really nothing that could be done to fix it though. Cutting it more will just worsen the problem!! Help!!

You COULD straighten it yourself,I have done it before with success. The cut might look better with striaght hair. To see first, maybe use a straightening iron and see how you like it. If you do,this is how you go about the straightening process. Buy a home perm kit, maybe two depending on how long your hair is. Follow the directions exactly,EXCEPT instead of putting hair in rods, you will comb it straight every couple of minutes with a wide tooth plastic comb. Then apply the neautralizer and your done.
If you really dont want to straighten, maybe try a differnt hair do,like pulling the front that's short up on the sides in some combs or something. It might look nice at least until the front grows out or the perm calms down some.
