How important is shampooing/shampoo to the waving process?

What kind/brand of shampoo should you use?

Anybody use a dandruff-prevention shampoo like Neutrogena T-Gel?

i shampoo my hair when i go out to special events and dats like every month

I shampoo my hair every 2-3 days and I just brush in the shower on the off days to make my waves more uniform.  I like cream of nature, and pink shampoo and conditioner.

its an all in one, It washs products out really nicely.  you can find it at sallys, or most beauty supply stores. It leaves your hair feeling sooo soft.

i shampoo every 3days with head and shoulders. works 4 me. Washes out my products nicely

shampooing is very important whether you have waves or not its sanitary... i shampoo once a week. use any brand of shampoo you want.

I use any kind of shamoo...brushing helps my waves not shampoo so it dont matta
