I had pm'd Sherrie with these questions, but in case she's not around today or just not visiting the boards, I thought maybe I should post the question as well since I'm on a tight shedule.  If you guys can help me with any of these questions, it would be greatly appreciated:

..... I'm going to get some (Liquid Gold).  I did a sew in and my goodness it took like 4-7 hours on my own head.  It's great to do for friends, but ridiculous for myself.  Oh my arms were hurting!

I made a copy of your tutorial on the sandwiching technique for Liquid Gold and I think that's going to be my next move.

Now I've read that you get about 7 weeks out of that use.  Please let me know if these things would be okay with it.

I know you said swimming is okay, but for how long can you be in the water; and you said to check the bonds when you get out.  Is this because there's always some that come loose.

Secondly, you said you wash and condition everyday.  I want to buy the wet and wavy hair to match better with my real hair (I'm African American).   This hair will need some extra conditioner and detangler to keep it looking nice.  Will these products disturb the bonds?

Also, sometimes I will want to flat iron it.  Will the heat of the flat iron bother the Liquid Gold bonds or will hot water from my shower?  Should I use lukewarm water when washing my hair or can I use hot?

Also, where are people getting these syringes?  I've found Liquid Gold in a beauty supply store in my area, but didn't know I would need a syringe until today and I don't know if I have time to order one before I needed to do my hair.  Is it really too hard to use the Liquid Gold with the brush that comes in the bottle?  How many times can I do a full head of extensions with one bottle of Liquid Gold?

Oh I missed one question...

I use a FEW (usually albout 3) small bottles of LG for an install. I know that LG website says one bottle will do "several' installs....but they are NUTS! I use the 1/2 ounce bottles (because I personally think that I have too much waste from the 1 ounce bottles) The LG will thincken pretty quickly once air hits it, and I cant use it up quick enough before it gets too thick. So using the 1/2 ounce bottles works out better for me!

I was able to use thickened LG w/ the syringe and had no problems, except it dried quicker.

U can probably pick up an oral syringe at walmart (no needle!) or if u have a vet, i'm sure s/he will give you one

good to know kb that you are able to use up the LG when using a syringe. I havent used up a bottle of LG with the syringe yet to find out. Another positive for the LG/Syringe method!

yeah sherrie, i actually have 2 unopened  bottles, but for the heck of it i decided to try to see if i could suck up some from an old bottle. It was so thick, i had hard time getting the brush out of jar. lol. I expected it not to work, but it did and i ended up using that syringe full for the entire install. Amazing .  I did have to squeeze harder to get it to dispense, but that was fine since sometimes the LG can ooze out too easily.
So i haven't touched my 2 new bottles of LG yet!

I had no idea they had syringes at walmart.  That's good to know in a pinch.

I just went ahead and ordered them from Sherrie.  She had everything in one place and has helped me out so much over the past few months.

In addition, much thanks to all of you guys here, Exensions 101 and BlackHairMedia.  Don't know what I would've done.

Sincerely,
Daffodil

it leaves residue in your hair that you will need to comb out upon removal, and then you will need a good shampooin' to get the hair cleaned well.
