Why does everyone say brush at a angle? How come nobody brush their sides down?

I use to,but they said that not how u suppose to do it if u want perfect connecting 360

If u brush yo side straight down they wont curve up to connect to the waves on the top of yo head.

u can brush dwn if u like and u can get waves that way but if u want perfect 360s then u brush at an angle

angle the sides
and not too steap or theyll come out funny lookin
It like a Tornado out,
Its hard to see with my waves spinnin' about.

i did brush my sides down for 3 staait years!! U WONT GET 360 CONNECTION BRUSHIN DOWN!!!i had to get shaved to get that pattern out of my head!

i always brushed diagonally my boi tol me to brush down but i could cuz i was so use to brushin diagonally
