the pro tubes are a bit thicker and stay in tighter in my opinion, they are also a tad bit narrower, so depending on the hair tip i use, i choose which one fits better.
yes i have, a few years ago i was teaching and doing platform work at the NYC hair show- i had to get 6 models ready for the show, i did full head installs on all of them in two days.
i currently have a few african american clients and they love the tubes i use for ind. and wefts.
I recently did an install with the silicone microrings on an African American client. Her texture is a tight curl and I used the deep wave hair on her and it looked nice. I unfortunately forgot to bring my camera to work to take pictures though.
I have a client who is coming to have her silicone lined rings removed, she loved them. I ordered the rings from short2long and will see how those work, they are just so expensive. I won't order anymore rings from them unless I just have to completely. The only reason why I ordered is because she wanted her hair done on Monday and I couldn't overnight in two different places.
