QuoteReplyTopic: Keeping Thick Hair Under Control? Posted: August 15 2006 at 2:46pm
Hey everyone,
A while back I came here for your opinions on getting a bob, I got it and i think it was the best hair cut I've had.
The only problem is that my hair is really really thick and has a slight sort of wave in it.
I decided to have my hair thinned but it really didn't help. My hair flicked up at the ends even more than usual and then the thinness went away after 2 weeks.
I've got slightly shorter hair at the front round my face but it still doesn't keep it out of my face.
The only way I can wear my hair is one side behind my ear which is really annoying, it gives me even more kinks on one side.
So guys, should I get layers or will this add even more bulk, and what can I do to keep my hair out of my face?

Thanks in advance everyone, I really appreciate any suggestions.

Try using a ceramic straightener on your hair. If you don't straighten it too much your hair will still be unkinky but it won't be stick straight. To keep it out of your face try using bobby pins or gel/hairspray.
