Hi ladies. been awhile since I have been on here, but Im pregnant, and for the last few months was too sick/blah/exhausted to bother with my hair at all. now however, im finally past the morning sickness,  and am planning my wedding in november, and of course i want pretty hairs for it :) so I was wanting to do a head of purple & black braids, to match our theme. the problem is that our local beauty supplies only carry ONE shade of purple in jumbo kk/pp, a neon bright uv reactive violety purple, and while i like it, i wanted several shades of purple to mix together. i specifically would like to find a nice medium royal purple, a DARK purple, and also maybe a lavender/light purple. anyone have any advice on online sellers where i can purchase this, w/o paying an arm & a leg for shipping? im having limited success in finding a good supplier for this type of hair-actually i've had NO luck at all despite extensive searching. Cry

thanks so much in advance!!!!!

Congratulations!! It's good to see you back! I don't know where you can get the hair but I do know Sherrie sells some colors and so does yourhairshop.

Hi Jenn,
Congratulations for your wedding + the coming baby!
I would recommend that you check the website of Plastikhaar, it's a swiss company, they do thermofiber synthetic hair from all kinds of color!
I think you'll find what you need there,
I also think they sell funky colors on internationalwig.com, you should check it out!
Good luck and keep us posted!Wink

How about buying some 613 from your local beauty supply and coloring it yourself with Manic Panic or something similar?  That way you could get the exact color(s) purple you are looking for.  Smile
Current Install: 18" Bohyme 613 and 613/27 with Protac and LG!!

well the thing is, that this is braiding hair, in kk (kanekalon) or pp (synthetic)  the texture is jumbo which means its kinky, so it holds well in the braids. basically cheap crap that you wouldnt want to use for anything but dreads/braids - but it works well for them. being that its synth tho, it cant be dyed.  human hair just doesnt work well, since its slippery and falls out, plus its expensive for something thats just going to be braided away.

i guess people on this forum do alot more of the loose extensions, and less of the dreads/braids eh? Thumbs%20Down

Hi Jenn!

On Plastikhaar website, they sell purple hair for braiding, not nice hair but coarse hair for braids! You should have a look for yourself!Geek

Have you looked at Dr. Locs? They have very cheap KK.
