i had ultratress extensions installed last week and just the tapes attahched were used without the sandwich method just put on straight across the wefts . well now they are coming up on the sides. ive been very careful with them and im washing everyother day also. what am i doing wrong?? theyre all loose. please giv eme any suggestions you can. thanks in advance and i look forward to getting to know you all. i just registered today after lurking for quite some time.
hmm, what kind of shampoo are you using? i wear protac, and my experience has been that if i use moisturizing formula shampoos it will make the tapes slip.....i also have to keep conditioner (including spray on/leave in conditioners) off the tapes
also, im not quite familiar with your type of install, but are they supposed to be for extended wear ?
Hi...new here! I just got an introductory kit from Ultratress, and they are suppose to be put on with the sandwich method only. They are not meant to just be placed on the hair.
I think the instructional kit is for professionals only. It was literature on their products and a DVD that shows the application methods for all their extensions.
The DVD shows the Ultratress application is a sandwich application.
Seamless wefts are only supposed to be applied without sandwiching if they are intended to be worn temporarily. You'll be lucky if you get a few washed out of them.
