Want to cut. I think

Hi everyone. I have got long, straight hair, almost to my waist. The hairs themselves are fine, but there are a lot of them so my hair is pretty thick. For a while I have been thinking about having my hair cut, maybe to about shoulder length, I`m not sure. What does everyone think. Should I cut it or not? If yes, can anyone tell me a style, and maybe give a picture. Thanx a lot. Emily :)

Your hair sounds lovely, Emily! Why do you want to cut it? More importantly...BE SURE before you let someone lop off your length...if you`re not happy with it, growing back will take you a very long time...And if you want support or help with your long hair, do stop by the long hair board here - or at TLHS or longhairlovers.com. Long hair is versatile and wonderful.

I wouldn`t cut the hair, after my opinion long hair like yours is indescribable beautiful.

It is always possible to go to a short cut but to reach a length like yours needs a lot of patience and also a lot of luck, because very long hair is very special in society and there are a lot of obstacles to reach it (genetics, hair condition, weather, water, conformity, pressure, jealousy ...).

It is also possible to let a long hair look short. I have stored some advices on my hard disk. And you could use a short haired wig if you really want to look different, but I think your own hair is too worthfull to be cut off.

Your hair sounds way too lovely to cut off, especially to shoulder length. I really would suggest that you rethink cutting it as your hair is very special and makes you stand out from all the girls with boring shorter hair. I would hope that you keep your hair, because I can assure you that you will break a few guys hearts if you cut it all off to your shoulders. Long hair is much prettier.
