supertape works just as well for me as airflex(AKA protac). Removal is done with either a citrus based remover or acetone. Most people typically get about 5 weeks wear out of them. There really isnt any other tapes I could recommend
Tape or bonding glues for wigs hold well.. Which one holds better depends on the wearer's own body chemistry.. In other words what works well for one wearer may NOT work well for another wearer..
One note to make.. You didn't say if you were, but if you are suffering from any serious sort of hair loss, you might consider shaving any remaining hair to allow a better bond. Bonded wigs adhere best to smooth skin with little to no hair. This is why ladies without hairloss issues who wear lacefront wigs will bond them just outside their own natural hairline. This way they are bonding to skin.

I have some clients with for whom I use Euroflex to attach hair pieces. It seems to last anywhere from 3-5 weeks for most.
I just wanted to add, with any bond or tape method with hair pieces, in the bond area, over time it will further thin out your natural hair. Actually I found microring attachment does also.
So, you may be better off to shave down the bond area for a more secure attachment, since it will thin out over time anyway.

Metal..
Are your clients able to conduct normal activities and still achieve this kind of hold?? I guess I am wondering if your clients are getting this kind of hold while working out (i.e. sweating) and/or washing the unit while attached. A friend of mine asked me this same question and I am getting mixed responses..

ITA... If you are suffering form a serious hairloss, keeping your remaining hair intact will subject the remaining hair to damage, and interfere with the attachment of any hair replacement system..

are there any other tapes you would recommend?thanksKim
Hi Kim -
There's a couple new ones out from hair product manufacturers overseas. Seems like when a method gets a lot of attention, they start offering up more.
I've been using one called Prostick and (I can't believe I'm saying it), I won't go back to Protac. They're thinner and lay flatter with less shine. My last install was on 1/13 with some reverse wefts in up top and they are just now starting to loosen. The bottom rows in back are as snug as the day I installed.
